After more than a decade of Popworld parties, the time has come to turn the music off for the final time.
Popworld Blackpool will officially close its doors on Sunday 30th August.
Since becoming Popworld in 2015, thousands of you have walked through our doors. We’ve celebrated birthdays, hen and stag parties, reunions, fancy dress, first dates… last dates… and more renditions of Dancing Queen than we could ever count. 💃
But the memories here go back much further than Popworld.
From Star Entertainment Centre, Edwards, Flares and eventually Popworld, generations of people have partied, worked, met, fallen in love, made friends and made memories right here at 120–122 Promenade.
Different names. Different decades. A LOT of different hairstyles… but always a good time. ❤️
So, for our final Bank Holiday weekend, we’re bringing everyone back together for ONE LAST DANCE.
Former staff. DJs. Door teams. Regulars. Visitors. And anyone who’s ever had a night to remember, or one they can’t quite remember 👀 — within these four walls.
This one’s for you.
Thank you to every single person who has been part of the story.
Whether you visited once on a weekend away, worked behind our bar, stood behind the decks, danced until the lights came on, or made Popworld part of your weekend for years - you’ve all played your part.
And now there’s only one thing left to do…Give this place the send-off it deserves.
